Decorating Consultation
Whether you need window treatment ideas, furniture arrangement suggestions, or a room-by-room list of decorating ideas, Rooms Recreated can provide a consultation customized to meet your needs.
Interior Redesign
Interior Redesign is a relatively new concept in interior decorationg. Sometimes called "use-what-you-have decorating" or interior rearrangement, interior redesign is gaining popularity as room redesigns are often featured on HGTV. It's fast and affordable and can give your room a whole new look in just one day. The process begins with a one hour, in-home consultation consisting of an assessment of the space, some decorating tips and ideas, and a proposal for the redesign. On the day of the redesign, the room will be emptied and "rebuilt" taking into account focal points, furniture placement, lighting, wall art, accessories, as well as the desired function of the room. If additional accessories are needed to complete the room, a list will be provided. Most redesigns take one-half day to complete.
Staging Consultation
Perception is value. Let Rooms Recreated partner with you to showcase the beauty of your home. The consultation will consist of a complete walk-through of your home, starting at the curb and finishing in the backyard, noting your home's attractions as well as its challenges. A detailed, room-by-room report will be provided with recommendations for de-cluttering, furniture rearrangement, color palette changes, cleaning, and overal updating. In addition, a prioritized order of the suggested improvements will be provided to help you get the greatest benefit for your dollar.
Staging Redesign
Homeowners who want additional help once the Staging Consultation is complete, can opt for a Staging Redesign. Rooms Recreated will rearrange your furniture and accessories to make your home feel more spacious and emphasize its best selling features. The goal is to make your home appealing to the majority of buyers by de-cluttering, neutralizing and de-personalizing. Keep in mind that the cost of staging is usually far less than your first price reduction! Statistics show that the average number of days on the market for a staged home is 13.9 versus 30.9 days for a non-staged home. First impressions, good or bad, are made within the first 15 seconds of entering a home. Rooms Recreated wants your home to make the best first impression possible.
Focal Point Staging
If you've already moved and your home is still for sale, you know how empty and uninviting it feels. Vacant listings lack the warmth and interest that are so important in helping buyers fall in love with a house. Since traditional staging that furnishes the house with rental furniture is often too costly an option, Rooms Recreated offers the option to achieve the benefits of staging without having to fully furnish the house. This service is called Focal Point Staging. By strategically placing small furniture pieces, art, lighting, and accessories in the foyer, kitchen, master bath, and living areas of the home, you can bridge the gap between showing an empty house and the extreme cost of furniture rental. See Realtors page for a photo gallery of Focal Point Staging examples.
Paint Color Consultation
Paint is one of the most affordable ways to enhance your space. Rooms Recreated can help you make decisions you will love to live with by choosing the perfect color for one room or a palette of colors for your entire home. Using colors that appeal to you, Rooms Recreated will work with the furnishings you own to find colors that compliment your room and decor while creating flow throughout your home.
